Some folks have different opinions. I favor clear line for jigs and remember , heavier line means slower rate of fall.

For those who fish Norfolk and Greers what's the go to colors. Does line color and diameter go into play with the clear water.

My go to color on Greers for cranks is Awesome Pink, for a jig my go to color is my pink/chartreuse/white. I use 30# braid for cranks and 20# braid for jigs. You won't need braid on Norfork because it was clearcut before it was flooded but Greers was flooded with all the timber uncut.

Still learning norfork but off our dock we have to fish w clear 4 lb test and red hook w minnow. When we first started up there couldn't catch a fish Had 10 lb test on all poles. Swapped to 4 and started catching. Sure u could get away w 6-8 but this has been my experience from dock. No clue on boat. Hoping to start figuring that out this year. If any of y'all end up on hand cove woods point end look me up. Hope to be up there more this summer.
But remember I'm still looking for help figuring out norfork too. By no means good at clear deep water. Much more comfortable at Sardis Still can be humbled down there but can try to look like I know what I'm doing.
Thanks for the info guys. By the way creek I bought a set of your rod storage racks from BRM last year there top notch.
