    Do you guys fish them different that man made lakes? Water is up and down in them

    In my opinon, the oxbows are easier to fish because the water is shallower and they have less options for cover. But yes, you have to watch the river, and its almost never "right" on my day off.

    I think fishing is best on Oxbows during low water and no good most times in exteme high water.

    Learning to fish an oxbow is not that hard as long as the water is steady or falling. If you want a challenge, fish them on a rise.
    I fish them quite a bit and I love them
