Done. I have ran the St. Jude Memphis Half Marathon and would have ran it again this past December if the weather had not caused it to be cancelled. That takes alot of dedication just for the training.
Good on you for helping with the cure, but even better, good for you for being able to complete 13.1 miles. I start training in 2 weeks. I thinking about maybe a full marathon this year.
My youngest was diagnosed at 5. Its a great cause. A cure is just around the corner!
My wife was diagnosed at age 10. Donation made!

GUYS, THANK YOU!!!
You have no idea how happy I am that C.C folks are helping with this.
Blackfish, you are correct, a cure IS just around the corner. I am dumbfounded by the research that is coming out the last year or 2, and the findings. I wish this info was discovered back in 1983 when I was diagnosed.
Arkcrappie, dedication is a must, but training has actually been fun. I have made countless friends on the River Trail in the evenings. I am hoping to keep up the running all summer, and maybe do the Disney Marathon next Janurary... It also benefits the JDRF.
You Can Make a Difference!
