The information below was sent to me in an email from Judy Watts of Metroplan. Metroplan and the U of A are working on stratigies to solve problems in the Lake Conway Watershed. I have attended a couple of these meetings already (as a resident in the Lake Conway Watershed and as a Lake Conway Angler). Wewould like to extend an invitation to you to join us at the next Lake ConwayWatershed Stakeholder meeting. Our next stakeholder meeting isscheduled for Tuesday, January 28th, 6 - 8 pm in the ConferenceRoom of the Faulkner County Natural Resource Center on110 South Amity Road, Conway, Arkansas 72032.

Wewill have a brief review of the information we have gathered thus far on theLake Conway Watershed and begin talking about what next steps are needed forthe formation of an advocacy group. This meeting is open to the public and wehighly encourage all residents who have any interest in the future of the LakeConway Watershed, including those living outside of the Conway and Mayflowerarea, to attend. The advocacy group and plan for the Lake Conway Watershed willbe determined and led by stakeholders who wish to become involved. Technicaland planning assistance will be provided by The University of Arkansas,Metroplan, and the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality.
