sinkers

Looking forward to seeing your sinker idea RCC.

Likewise, RCC. Keep in mind the the last fellas that tried hand grenades didn't fare too well. LOL

I'll just post up the conversation Cray and I had about the sinker idea and see what ya'll think. Don't know if it will work or not. You can see our concerns about this.

I use a #10 swivel with a bead above it and my weight above that. Then tie a 8/10 in dropper on the bottom. Might try that and just close the Tabs and let them slide up and down the line. I really don't like pinching anything down on the line. Been trying to find a mold or source for 1/2 oz finess weights like bass guys use.. They are long and slender like the ones Wally Marshal has on those stainless Riggs he sells. Less resistance going through the water. Ole DonDon uses those weights you got.

You got that right , and when it does hope to see Carol and Yourself wearin em out.

I just changed my weight system on my rigs. I wanted a way to change the weight without changing rigs and keep the weight inline with the rig like an egg sinker, so I bought the Water Gremlin Bull Shot weights from BPS. They are shaped like a Bullet/Worm weight, and they are a split shot. You can wrap the line around them a few times and press them closed. They have a groove on the back side that the line fits in as well. All I have to do to change weight is open them back up, and put whatever size I want on the line. Makes it easy to keep about a 1/2 oz of weight when changing your rigs from bait hooks to weighted jigs.

The Bull Shots come in all sizes up to 1/2.

BTW, this weight system hasn't changed my poor fish catching ability one danged bit, but my confidence level is thru the roof!!!!! :-)

Trying to not be a "LOSER" is a tough, lifelong job!!!!! Hehehe

I like water Gremlin's Bull Shot weights.
