    Default Atkins update and some thoughts


    I posted ? about Atkins but was late at nite I also called Lucky Landing that morn. lady said not to come. I went anyway should have listened. We caught 3 fish 2 good ones there were several others boats out and they were not catching much.I was thinking for example if the bite was on and 25 boats per day 2 persons per boat 20 fish limit for 14 days how many fish? 25x2=50x20=1000x14=14000 fish x 2 fillets =28000 thats a lot of cornmeal.

    U never no until u go, u did the right thing,just because they haven't been biting do mean they won't start, each dat is different, thanks for the post!

    I have caught some hogs out of Atkins. For me, it only takes a few good ones to make the trip worth while.

    Now is the time to go I would think. All the bait stealers are gone and nothing but hawgs left. May take a diff. technique but I think they still can be caught. Where is this lake Atkins you speak of?

    Yep come on down its here in the bluff. We catch em by the boatloads. No pressure except bank fisherman and cost $3 to launch

    its just south of Atkins Ar which is on hwy 64 between Russellvile and Conway
