Smile Need to ask 3 questions

    (1) Where is the best place for the money to buy a 10' Ozark rear seat rod? I bought 3 Ozark 11' rods from Nimrods advice, and really picked up a deal. But the man didn't have no 10 footers. Thanks Nimrod for the information. (2) What kind of main line do you like the best. Right now I have 10lb. fluorocarbon on, Tell me if I'am to heavy to light or go to a braid, I have Zebco 11 Gold micro spincast on my three 11' poles right now, let me know what you like, and why. (3) What kind of leader line do you like, and in what pound test. Thanks Guys for the get back to me.

i use 8 lb flourocarbon but fishing extremely deep I might drop to 6 lb. Never use a leader . Usually use a tiny swivel to stop line twist inline about 18'' above my jig.

Couple questions. I assume you are vertical jigging with these rods? If so, really no need for a leader unless you are using hi-vis for your main line, or you are having problems with line twist when fishing deep. I use 8# hi-vis on my trolling rods with a 6# camo leader. 6# Camo for vertical jigging. How long since you bought your 11' rods? They probably have the 10' rear seats now, may have to order them for you.

I bought my rods from don Blakey on our forum. I personally use 8lb on my jig poles with a size 14 swivel to prevent line twist. I use braid on my spider poles with a 6 lb mono leader.

Cmj; I am vertical jigging most of the time. And I bought my rods about two months ago. I wish I could remember the mans name I bought The rods from, I would call and see if he had what I looking for.

Broke pole 10 foot Ozark, with 6-8 lb camo or clear Mr Crappie Line, Pfluger micro spinning reels, Trion or President Don B. or Bates Field and stream in Mayflower sell them on the shelf. Never use a swIvle. And never afraid to pick up and 11 foot Ozark either. Put these combo's together and you have the finest vertical crappie fishing jigging pole for the money you can Buy. And I have been fishing with this equipment, even when it was'nt kool to fish with.
