I have a buddy that's told me he will take me fishing. In order to save time and awaiting the day, I was hoping someone could throw me a bone. I had surgery two weeks ago and I'm on crutches. I just don't want to put the work in of one leg fishing all day for one or two fish. So can someone please, point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance. Frankthatank...

From the report that D-10 gave on the fish sampling, I would be on Lake Conway if I wasn't 2 1/2 hours away. Also I would make sure you wore a life jacket. I dont get to fish it but 2-3 times a year but I would JIG JIG JIG. White and chartreuse. When someone says there was 200lb of crappie in a net I know I could find a acorn. Good luck and be careful

Frank even though the samples are coming out with good numbers, remember that's a net they are using. The fisherman aren't catching good right now. Maybe too many shad or the pelicans feeding on the shad right now.

Yea bud if u get out and see me over there hanging a few come over and chat with me for a few It's been a hit and miss thing for me this yr but I honestly just started fishing conway last yr I live closer to greers ferry lake but its a completely different world when it comes to crappie fishing and conway lake compared to gf . I'm new to jig fishing without a bobber and I'm going to have my growing pains but if I'm on to something I don't mind helping someone that's friendly and courteous
