Default During times Of Cabin Fever I like to?

When the weather just gets to nasty to fish...I love to tinker in my fishing room, organize and inventory my tackle, wipe my poles and clean my reels and post on Crappie .com. This is a great time to also go to a store and do some fishing shopping. Post some pic's of your tackle or give us some tips to beat the cabin fever. Man I am bored and the ice is just starting to fall.

I like to fire up the wood burning stove and just do nothing. I don't get to do "nothing" very often!! But if I get to bored, i will tinker in my shop, clean up, re-arrange, and put new line on all my cranking and spider riggin poles.

I clean my reels , guns , and spend time with the little woman . Not in that order though.

I sit and wish I lived on a lake so I could walk down to the dock, hop in the boat, and go try my luck.

I think I will put new line on all of my reels. I am due for some fresh line. I may also set up a heater in the garage and make some bullets. I am running a little low on 45 ammo.
A question for y'all. Do you store your extra line inside your house or some other climate controled area or do you just keep it out in the garage like I do. I was recently told not to store my extra line in the extreme temps because it causes it to become brittleand break easier. Ant truth to this?

I keep my line stored in workroom in garage. Don't think high temperatures (unless extreme +120) hurts it. Exposure to sunlight or UV radiation will cause polymers to delink over the long run and cause line to become brittle.

The weather won't stop the bite but it might stop the truck from making it back up the ramp.
