I wish they would eat allot more of them. I remember one time we cleaned some larger yellow bass and the had baby Crappie in their guts. I hate Yellow bass wish the AGFC would eliminate the little suckers if they could.

Doubt that is possiable even if they wanted to.They are native to the Arkansas river , we are lucky as Nimrod has none. My buddies say the Yellow Bass are good to eat if ya catch some big enough. Tell people to eat them out of existance.

Probably if Lake X had more big crappie, they would eat those yb up...... somebodies always catching all the crappie!! Then again maybe they are a good crappie food source, so the crappie can be well fed!

Nope but I was tearing up the crappie one day and heard a thud under the boat.. I looked over the side and saw a crappie struggling, thought it was one i released so I went to either get water through the gills or keep it to eat and found this.

Also caught a citation yellow perch on a 3 inch yellow perch.

Another time I Dip netted a live herring, caught a yellow perch while reeling him up I had a 22.5" bass swallow it... Got him in the boat too!
