Little Maumelle

From reading some recent post on the Little Maumelle it is apparent that there are a number of folks that fish that area (Dr Pepper, Slip cork, J Hook, Little Hog, CEB, Gooch, Title Man ect). With all of those folks fishing the area it looks logical to me to have a meet and greet to kick the idea of a crappie club arround. If we did nothing but coordinate a condo buiding day we all would be served by knowing the location of 10 to 20 condos at a place we already fish. I would like to have some mini tourneys out there, like on Saturday mornings or a nightstalking rodeo. I am sure others of you would have things you would like to take part in as well regarding a crappie club.

Is there anyone who has any ideas on how to best get the ball rolling on this idea as far as a meeting of the crappie minds and finaly getting something started? I think all we need to do is set a time and place for all of us to meet and it will just about take care of its self as far as direction goes.

Sounds good. The worst part is coordinating schedules, so let's get an idea of everyone's schedule. Friday afternoon or Saturday morning/afternoon for me. If we do this Friday afternoon, a couple of guys can bring their boats to accomadate the folks that don't have time to do the prep work to get out there after work.

It is always Saturday for me. I have too much stuff behind my name to be slipping off to fish (very often).

Man I sure do like the getting together to build condos idea. I have a toon boat stored at the yacht club on the Big Maumell. I wouldn't mind using it to place a bunch of condos.

Scheduling could be a problem. I am leaving town Wed morning and returning late Sunday. Next week end is finally Crappie Camp. I bet we will be pumped after that to get something going.

Hey I think that is great. Needs to be on Sat for me. Not often can I get out on Fri afternoons. My guys like there pay check.

Saturday's work best for me. I just never know before Friday evenings if I'll be able to go on any given Saturday morning depending on work.

As of this moment, it looks like I will be out there Sat. morning. If any of y'all make it out there, hollar at me. I'll be the only one in sight with poles hangin' off the front of the boat. You can't miss me.:D

My wife and I are tenatively planning on being out there Saturday morning. She's traveling this week and it depends on when she get's back tomorrow night. I'm in the alumacraft flat bottom with the 25 yamaha and new motor guide wireless trolling motor on the front that I'll be learning how to operate so stay clear.

Well, I had a change of plans for Sat. It looks like I will be going to a funeral in WM Sat morning. But, I will probably be out there tomorrow till dark.
