Team Tsunami skunked again

The fish skunked us agin today. Toni was out I school so we went to the river. Lots of fun. We watched a big ole doe feeding along the bank. Caught one lil Kentucky. We shook a few pecans out of a tree hanging over the river. Introduced Toni to her first persimmon. Collected a few giant over cup acorns. Guess we will just head back to the woods for a while. We need to head over to the range soon and check out the slug guns zero.
What do the Crappie do this time of year?? I'm getting pretty good at the spring patterns, but summer & fall have me stumped.
