What is the oddest pattern you've identified this year?

Back in early summer, BRM and I were fishing Sardis. Water was muddy - post spawn. We had 14 fish and he tied on a gold 4-0 hook that we caught the next 11 fish on. Don't know why, just know how. Somethin' about that big gold hook made 'em bite. Tell me what was the most unique pattern you caught fish on this year.

I put a minnow on a critter and caught bigger fish than straight jig. Maybe the fish wanted a bigger profile bait idk.
