And we all know what that means. You no longer need a boat to reach your favorite honey holes. You can simply walk across the floatilla until you have reached your destination. Dont worry if some guy gets angry that you are fishing in his livewell, he would do it to you if he had the chance....
Seriously though guys, try to be "patient" with the fair weather guys. If that word isn't in your vocabulary, then do what I do: Avoid those areas!!! Remember, we go to relax and enjoy God's creation, don't let some bonehead ruin it for you.
Be safe and enjoy this "Crappie Season!"

lol if king Obama and his jester harry reid don't open up the ramps at carter cove by next week-end im not going to be able to go camping im going to cry![]()
I have a hidden boat ramp in the woods on Nimrod. Caught about 60 this morning and kept a good limit along with a couple whisker fish. Noticed a couple ding a lings trying to come in the shallows where I fish ,. They were hung up using paddles and trolling motor, they started getting too close I left out on plane. They sure looked shocked but I know where the creeks run. Hey D10 and BigBen7 , Y'all better hollar if you want to fish before Deer season.

Given the stupidity of ramp closings and approach of buck rut I may deem my efforts toward chasing Bambi on days off.
It's here no doubt, but my two best hidden Fall spots are located behind closed gates. I fished Conway some last few years, but after a few certain occurrences it'll be hard for me to talk myself back into it LOL
Hey nimble did you say bow hunter holler if you want to fish lol. Been waiting all summer for a lesson. Where is that boat ramp I need to know since all the fish are biting in that lake he he he.
Sheeesh...where is that? Don't wanna be there...and great advice!
