Very glad to hear your dog is ok as I love digs and have two. But I'm a little confused as to your statement about tying hooks onto JUGS on Beaverfork. Is the the Beaverfork in conway? If so I thought it was a No trot line or jug fishing like. And you very well may have meant you were tying a jig on

Sorry - I re-read that part and it made no sense the way I had it. Yes - I was bouncing jigs with minnows along the bottom as I drifted across the lake. Probably the fish were above my jigs anyway, because I had a 1 oz weight 2 feet before the jig. Also had an Alabama rig which was moving too fast to stay submerged. I'm really just learning how to fish for Crappie, and I frequently combine lots of things together in the forlorn hope that something will bite. :donoQuote:
