I was there last Saturday. Only a few stumps are showing. It is one long bumpy boat ride from Hermans back to Redbarn end. Caught one 4lb green carp jigging around lily pads. Then slow trolled the channel (up towards Hermans) caught 2 big slob crappie. Got tired of fighting wind and pulled in behind a point and fished visible stumps in 1.5 fow and caught a bunch of small crappie.

My uncle had told me that the best trip he ever had was fishing dead lily pads in September. Most all the lily pads I found were in about 1 fow and were still bright green.

Also the lady at the gate said that one of her guys had only caught 2 last Friday. From what I had heard it was on fire before it rose 6" last week.
