3 Pound 4 Ounce White Crappie

I just got back the 3 pound 4 ounce white crappie that I caught last Fall. It was 18 inches long and came from a small lake called Cargile, near Hattieville. This fish was only 4.5 years old! Hard to believe. That is very good growth for a crappie. Best of Birds Taxidermy did the mount. They are located on the north side of Lake Conway. I think that they did a great job. It is on the wall at our AGFC office in Mayflower. Come by a see it if you are in the area.
