Big Thanks to Basscat1 (This Is Why I Love This Site)

A few weeks back I found a deal on the Personal Classifieds that was too good to pass up. It was a Humminbird 798ci hd si for, well lets just say it was a steal. As soon as I made the deal, RCC pms me and offers to come help me with the setup stuff. So I get it all installed and take it to the lake to test it out. The thing worked flawlessly for a few minutes, then the right si image went out, never to return, again RCC offers to come help out. I decided to post an inquiry on the electronics board and I got a pm from Basscat saying he had the same unit and that I could borrow it to test my transducer. I did, and I found out that my transducer was bad because his unit was doing the same thing. After posting the results on the electronics board, I received a partial refund from the seller for the cost of a new transducer. You guys are awesome! I love this site!!!

Yeah Basscat is a stand up guy from the little bit i got to talk to him when we net. He even offered to take me fishing. Now you can't beat that.

I was only offering to help hoping you would send some big fishy coordinates or at the least loan me a hat. There are some great people around this joint. A few of them can even catch a fish from time to time. A big salute to basscat for being a stand up guy. I saw your reply to him. That was a pretty stand up move yourself.
