Lol, he was a little on the shy side so he's still swimming. I think this explains a lot of misses that we just call short strikes. They strike the jig head first and we jerk it right back out before the hook ever makes contact. I caught one last year that did this. Only reason I landed him was because he was so small the bait got wedged in his mouth! Lol!![]()
