Default Who Says Fas-naps are useless?

This little guy swallowed the jig head first. Never would have landed him without the fasnap. Name: uploadfromtaptalk1379215186628.jpg

Great pic. last year on a trip to the Gulf I caught a 15lb king fish. Once we got him gaffed and on the pier I noticed that I never hooked him. My hook snagged on a leader that had been broken off earlier. What are the odds

    Better sharpen your hook .
You will see some odd things fishing or anything else if your around it long enough.
Guess you let him go since it was not a fair catch?

Lol, he was a little on the shy side so he's still swimming. I think this explains a lot of misses that we just call short strikes. They strike the jig head first and we jerk it right back out before the hook ever makes contact. I caught one last year that did this. Only reason I landed him was because he was so small the bait got wedged in his mouth! Lol! Name: uploadfromtaptalk1379247619843.jpg
