Lake Millwood!!!!!!!!!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. We made it out to Millwood last weekend. I can't descibe how the fishing was!!! We caught the crappie and bass schooled up together. They were pushing baitfish to the shore and busting the crap out of them!!! I have no idea how many we caught over the 2 day period. My wife seems to think about 300. I will post pictures as soon as possible. If you guys get the opportunity, take a trip down to Millwood. The fishing is sensational right now. I have NEVER seen crappie that aggressive. TAke care!!!

What part of the lake were you in? What ramp? I have never fished Millwood but have wanted to.

Spikes your killing us with this post. Man its like smelling cookies baking and not being able to eat one. Get those pics up quick. I want to at least see a pic of an aggressive crappie.

Sorry for thye delay, I had a 3 day training session this week. We started at White Cliffs. We caught a few in the morning directly under the white cliffs on the edges of the lily pads. The action started around 3:00 p.m. and lasted for 3 hours. We were in a bend in the little river about 1 mile downstream from White Cliffs. We were throwing 1/4 ounce silver spoons under trees. The bass were chasing the baitfish to the shores. The crappie were picking the dead minnows off of the surface. You did not know what you were going to catch!! I am heading that direction in the next three hours. It will be a little cooler so I do not know how that will affect things. Gooch, I am a little outdated on my technology. I will locate a scanner. I thought our office had one but it doesn't. I WILL FIND ONE!!!! I would encourage anyone to make the trip to southwest arkansas. THe area if anything is beautiful. The fishing is always good.
