Unfortunately the AGFC does not keep up with lake records. Only state and world records. I wish that there was a system set up for lake records, because we get those questions a lot.

Can someone give me a link to the fish lake records for Arkansas? I am interested in seeing what size crappie each lake has.
Thanks in advance,

I wish they would also, I couldn't find it so thought I would ask. Texas Parks and Wilde life has that on all major lakes here. It's very easy to find for each one.
Thanks anyway!
Out of curiosity, how far back do the lake records go? When did they start keeping track?

Oklahoma keeps those records too

No good cause them bigs ones are already caught out of the lakes lol. Kidding never heard of one
I am pretty sure here on Toledo Bend they go back to the making of the lake. I know I have been follow on line the lake level on the same site since the late 1990's and before that I would just call the Sabine River Authority in the morning because I know they check the level every day by 8 AM. It has what size of every fish in the lake that's been caught and who caught the fish as well as what on as well as how long the fish was.
Here is the link to that info on Texas Parks and Wildlife site....

Would be a nightmare to keep up with for the Game and Fish.

The only way it wouldnt be a nightmare or a lot of work is to use the honor system and most fishermen and hunters are honest. But it only takes a few "do whatever it takes to win" folks to muck things up.
