We caught 4 tagged catfish out of Lake Hogue a few years ago. 3 $10 and 1 $100 dollar tag. Never saw any of the money. Been trying for twenty years for a banded duck or goose.

I have killed 2 Doves , 2 Canadian Geese and caught 4 tagged Catfish.
In 2010 we actually caught 4 small Catfish on Nimrod with double tags worth money. My 3 Catfish tags were worth 10 , 10 , and 25 dollars. The one my fishing partner caught was a 10 dollar tag. Well this week I finally caught another tagged Catfish about 3 lbs. Have yet to call or send it in.
Just wondering how many folks have gotten fish or game that had been tagged?

Several ducks and one Conway crappie.
2 banded wood ducks. one was on black river and had been banded on big lake. the other was from south dakota and killed in a rice field of all places
I caught a tag crappie in Nimrod a few years ago, called it in and about two or three months later, I called to see what it was worth and they said five dollars and then about a month or so later I got a check. Ha. That was my first and probably my last.
1 tagged crappie off of Lake Pine Bluff, 1 double banded mallard, numerous trout when I used to catch those nasty things
I have tagged thousands of crappie, catfish, and trout, and have yet to catch one of them. I guess that means that I work to much and don't fish enough. I did catch a tagged rainbow trout on the Eleven Point River in southern Missouri when I was a kid. I thought that it was the coolest thing at the time.

7 mallard bands, 1 was worth $100, 1 teal, 1 woody, 1 pin tail, 3 Canada's, 1 dove, and.........0 fish......I took my son-in-law duck hunting last season and he killed his first wood duck ever and yep....it was banded and not locally! And then there is the fake band on a duck trick, I always carry one and have gotten some great memories with that!...............I've always thought a great promotion would be for private companies to band or tag fish and game with large rewards and put them across the country. If the rewards were large enough it would create quite a commotion and be great advertising. I remember a rumor years back that Crown Royal had banded some ducks with solid gold bands and turned one loose in each of the fly ways. It was only a rumor ( imagine that with sportsmen ) but it sure did have everyone in my neck of the woods talking about it for a couple of years.
