Lmbarnett auctioned fishing trip fulfilled!!

Well it took a while for me and Matt to get together for a fishing trip he bought on auction last year when money was raised for Mrs. Ferns medical bills. I hooked up with matt and his bunch early yesterday morning and we chased cat fish for a couple hours thanks to CA!!!. For an 81 year old his grandpa sure could fight em good. He didn't complain at all but said his arm was sore at the end of the day from reeling in all them fish lol. Thomas and matt also held there own.





After filling cooler full of cats we made a run for the truck and swapped em out making room for crappie. A short boat ride found us in the crappie i found the day before. With a little coaching i had the group reeling em in two and three at a time. With a limit of crappie we headed in to meet at Mr. Mickey's camp where CA was frying fish!! Man what a feast Ca cooked with fried okra, squash, hush puppies, and fish. Mr. Micks wife melba had fresh onion tomatoes also to eat. We had a big eat and then cleaned a ton of fish. Thanks Mick and Ca for helping clean them too.

Thanks for your efforts and everyones generosity. If anyone failed to get their trip just let me know. Fern lost her battle with cancer and know she would have liked to see everyone's trip completed. Glad you guys had fun.
