Good morning on lake today!

I caught some pretty crappie today. Black crappie out of clear water sure are pretty fish. I thought I had a limit, but was one short when I got home. Oh well it was getting hot anyway. Caught them on a roadrunner, cast and retrieve. Ceb, if you're still dating down this way you might want to give it a try.

Nice lookin' mess of crappie, Jerry. I've been wanting to try Cane Creek, and I guess now I'm forced to. What part of the lake were you fishing?

Hey Ceb, when you put in at the State Park ramp, and start out into the lake, look to your left and you will see the thick group of standing dead cypress that are in the picture. You can't miss them. I fished on the north edge of trees. Be careful motoring, lots of stumps.
