Since it has been a little slow with the crappie fishing (for most of us). I wanted to share some pictures with yall of a REAL SLAB that was caught on Harris Brake Lake this past March. Tommy Baxter caught this fish from the bank somewhere on Harris Brake fishing with minnows. It was 18.5 inches long and weighed 4 pounds 2 ounces. Stories like this are what get my blood pumping and give me the hope that evern I could catch a thumper like this. The owner/opperator of Coffee Creek Landing verified this story and sent me these pictures. It was weighed on his scale. Enjoy!

That is exactly why the CACA championship is likely to be on Harris Brake. There is a picture of a 4.4 at Bates that came out of there last year. Very nice Speck!!
