Default Collins Creek AR...A Hidden Gem/Lake Conway Good Un

It started off with a quick stop at the Daylight donut Shopwith the Grand Son's. If you are ever up at the JFK Park at Greers Ferry...Make sure you don't pass up the scenery of Collins Creek with the FAM. The creek comes out of the side of a Mountian and flows down too one scenic water fall... after another. It is one of the most beautiful creeks you will ever lay your eyes on. And a great place to explore with the Fam and Kids. Look for the small parking lot and the Collins Creek sign on the left as you head down to the fish hatchery and red river at JFK Park. Its a quick walk through a very easy trail in the woods and a trail runs along the Creek down the Mnt side. Dont make the mistake of missing this creek when your up there. Lots of folks pass it by and never even realize the beauty they are missing. LOL Them boys forgot all about fishing when they hit this creek. LOL TAKE YOUR CAMERA!!!

Lake Conway is still slow but producing some decent fish for me. Caught a good one along with several nice keepers in those Cypress trees. I have caught a few really nice white crappie this summer on Conway but mostly black crappies take center stage on Conway right now.
