I have a 25 Tohatsu, and from what I have seen on the White river, allot of the commercial fishermen use them over there. They are the parent company of Nissan, and all the parts are the same.

Can't go wrong with one, IMHO.

I've got three Nissan/Tohatsu's and like all of them. Didn't know they made a 25 hp, just a 20 hp. Anyway, Tohatsu makes the Nissan AND Mercury small outboards. ****************gave me a good deal on my 50 hp Tohatsu last winter It's done well the few times I've had it out. Both of my 9.9 hps do great.

I've got a 50 and love it to death. Was a Yamaha man before but needed a new motor so with the 5 yr. warranty, prop, wiring, control box, fuel lines, water seperator filter and tach all thrown in free, how could I turn it down. Mine is a 2 stroke oil injected.Got it from BRM. Mother company of Nissan! #1 motor of commercial fishermen!
