    Default Restored a 30+ Year Old Mount (pics)


    I just finished a restoration of a 3lb 4oz crappie that was over 30 years old. I had already changed out the old eye and placed one on the back side also in the before pic. I normally just do new mounts but this was my first restore.

    Beautiful. I think crappie are one of the tougher species to get the coloring correct, and that most mounts don't look very good. Great job and thanks for sharing.
