Woohoo!!! caught some crappie
I know it ain't much, but caught 3 yesterday. 2 keepers and 1 dink. I fished every treetop and stickup on the bayou without 1 bite. Loaded the boat backup and went to a drainage ditch where I did real good in early June after some big rains. In June I caught 74 keepers in 3 days without catching 1 dink. Yesterday at least I caught something, its been so hot and the water has been so low I haven't caught any crappie in 3 months. I also hung something BIG twice, never could get a look at it but after it tore the ditch up no more bites. I caught crappie, I feel great. grizzly

Keeper crappie
Gooch - I know how you feel. My wife and I caught 4 keeper crappie running from 10.25 to 11.5 last Tuesday. These are the first keepers we have caught since last May. One day a month ago we took 41 dinks and didn't have one keeper among them.
