    Default A little daytime redemption

Lately, we have been spending much of our time building and sinking crappie condos. This morning Jerry, Jim and I took a break and just fished. The mess made for 4 small quarts of fillets.

The bite was very light and they didn't want the jig much. I'm anxious for the bigger slabs to get more aggressive and/or come out of the even deeper water.

Dang Darryl, Did that Wild Turkey do something to ya? I think that looks like a heck of a nice day of fishing! It would have made me smile.

Hmmm, can't say that it did, but I might try it , but I don't know how much the crappie would like me dipping the jig or minnows in it.
