Those look about like those we caught yesterday, maybe a little better, although we had a few like those on top. We just never found any good ones!

I fished from 10 am till 230 jiggin. Caught more than a limit of keepers but no real slabs. Brought in 20 Crappie and A whisker fish on Umbrella tubes on 1/8 oz head. Been doing fair this week , but wondering where the biguns hiding at. Most days I seem to find one that will push 1 1/2 lbs or close but most just 10 to 11'' or so. Gave away my fish last two trips so thought I'd post something today.

Good to see ya post some fish CA
They are thin and a little onthe small side in that lake but a least you can be guaranteed some fish when you go there and bring home enough for a meal, thanks for the post , nimrod!!

I like fish pics. Good job. I'll take fat crappie, skinny crappie, crappie that eat alot. Cute crappie, ugly crappie, even crappie with chicken pox. You're right on Dardanelle. That lake is a spoiler

Nimrod do you usually use 1/8 oz heads or is that just a summer time thing? I was just asking because ive started using bigger heads jigging this year.
