Default Another great camping/fishing trip with my granddaughter

We headed out Friday at 5:30 to Beaver lake. We spider rigged for a couple hours and didnt get a bite. We then went into our little cove and anchored our toon and cooked a some hotdogs and enjoyed supper. After dark we set up our beds and began tellin ghost stories, her favorite part of the trip.

Then off to bed and up at daylite. Spider riggin again for a few more hours and no fish. I moved to another spot and bam!! It was on. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1373940995.370665.jpg

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Hate being the internet cop but cleaning that crappie on the boat where there is a 10 inch minimum could have ruined a great outing if Mr. Green jeans was watching and wanted to write you up.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
