Greers Ferry Slab

Took a friend of mine and his daughter out today. The early bite was slow with some small fish but changed locations about 9:30 and found some in the mouth of a small creek. This is the biggest Summer time crappie that has been caught from my boat out of Greers. It was 16 1/4"s long and weighed 2 pounds even. She was alittle afraid to hold it so it is not being long armed.

All were caught on Bandit 300 crank baits.

Great job Wayne! I've got to hire you sometime to show me how to do it on Greers Ferry, most of the time I can only catch 8-10 small ones trolling cranks there. I've done better at other lakes but Greers is close to home and where I fish the most. Again great job.

Nice one slick , looks poor that shoulda been heavier. We are not seeing any 2lb Crappie here . Is nice to know there are a few bigguns left out there.
