Horse Shoe/Wapanauka

What is going on with these two lakes????? Have the State drained the fish from them. Horseshoe has given a few here or there, but Wapanauka needs to be closed down.

Horseshoe has been decent lately in the piers and pads before the fleas arrive. Not sure about Wappanocca.

It seems like a lot of lakes are having an off year. We fished Nimrod all morning for 15 keepers. Only two hit the 1lb mark, the other 750 fish we caught may have weighed a 1/2lb............TOTAL!!!

I went last week and played around the piers for about 3-5 hrs. I caught 8-9 cats, a few strong hits thats about it. I'll try again. My partner went to Cathie's lake in Wynne and came back with 52 mixed with mostly Brims, a few Catfish, and some bass.

Is the limit still 50 on this lake? Should be changed to 30 in my opinion, the lake is not what it used to be, two cents!

Yes, the limit is 50. I wouldn't bother me if they moved it to 30.

Wouldnt bother me either... But i have only kept more than 30 a few times.. I dont keep em if they aint 10" and if im catchn goodens i will start throwing them back.

If anybody keeps 50 from there , they are keepn dinks... Just my 02

My bad., Between myself and another fishing guru we had/kept 52. We actually threw quite a few back that were not quite ready to be put in a skillet yet.

Maybe they should make it a 14" minimum limit!!
