It has been requested of me to share some of my crappie picture, i usually dont share my picture of my fish because it cause added traffic to the areas i fish, i got to fish about 4 hours this day, but since i have been called out i am sharing. I caught these just outside greens lake just off of the old creek channel on green cypress trees on Independence Day 2013. They were holding just off the bottom on the shaded side of the cypress trees, they were taking char/white mid south tubes with a red head, the head weight i was using was 1/16th ounce. Crappie nibbles were in use, glitter nibbles, white. I fished single pole, i was using 8 pound flouracarbon line, 10' ozark rod, i had a shimono spinning reel. The bite was lite, to say the least. If anyone is looking for Crappie this time of year on conway, my advice is to cover alot of trees.

Good job. I wasn't far from you that day. Started at Pierce and fished through Greens. I ended up at Lawrence before heading home with 16. I caught fish everywhere I tried. The bite is definitely picking up.

Nice fish and report. Conway crappie has always been tough for me. Usually get side tracked catching bream.
