Keeping 1.5 to 2 mph all day is easy in my Hobie.
Got to try the new rod holders yesterday.

They worked great. The polyurethane washer worked great between the pivot points. I could tighten the bolts and nylock nuts and create just the right amount of friction to hold the rods in position but still be able to adjust the position without tools. They worked for spider rigging and pulling cranks. I'm very satisfied.
I figured it wasn't that hard to maintain speed with your yak. :highfive:highfive congrats on the toon rod holders too.
Great job and PICS!
Nice pics
What kinda pole do you use pullin cranks? I have never done it and was just wondering. I see the pic but can't tell what it is.
Usually I use a 6' pole in the first holder and a 12' on the outside. I normally only run 4 poles.
