    It may be different for others but we don't like fishing for Crappie the day AFTER a full moon for the next 5-6 days. The day BEFORE the full moon is no problem. Please don't ask me why......that is just the way it has worked out for us over the years. Now if you are fishing for bream...that's another matter....

    I really never pay much attention to moon phases just fish every day I can.

    We have never cancelled a fishing trip because of the moon phase......just gets us to thinking things may be a little slower than normal if we have just seen the full moon a few days before the trip. It may just be superstition, LOL!

    I dont usually get to pick and chose my days to fish, I just have to go when I get the opportunity. I didn't know if it made a BIG difference or not.

    Fish doctor says crappie are most active in the dark of the moon. Has to do with eye position on head and light sensitivity. Sounds good to me.
