Thank you Russ for a great tournament! I must say it took lots of patience and practice to catch a fish of that magnitude . As you can see from the pictures that monster was caught on a 1/16 oz. unpainted minnow head jig with a neon smoke with chartruese core mid south super jig. Horseshoe was the water that produced this quality fish (and I'm proud to say he should still be swimming unless it got eaten by one of the thousands of hungry gar) and I caught it in the pads on Horseshoe fishing 3.5 feet deep in 4 FOW.

Hawgdog, that's one you can drag out from under those piers in a few years and put it in your cooler. Just remember to not use the same color jig I did as I'm sure it will remember that experience and never touch anything of that color again.

It was quite a chore to keep a grip on that fish!! Most fish you would lip, but not one like that!!
