I hope to be able to try my luck Saturday or Sunday. I have fished Nimrod maybe six times in the last 30 years, would like to get to know the lake better and spend more time after retirement, sometime between Sept 1 this year and Sept. 1 next year, fishing and camping there more often. I have fished alot below the dam and have done very well over the years, to old to climb around on those rocks now. Good Luck to all that get to fish this weekend.

Nimrod almost normal by the weekend. But water is nasty as I've ever seen it. So dirty ,I can't believe folks are swimming in it! Want to try it soon but between the heat, wind, nasty water and still falling I'm kinda put off.

The fish I caught yesterday were paper thin and no big fish either. Hope it picks up or I'll be driving somewhere else to fish.
