Went out to brewer the other night under the lights. Ended up 4 shy of our 2 man limit. Only caught 2 good ones. Most of them pretty small but big enough to get a knife through. Bait shop was out of minnows so most fish were caught on jigs. The two big ones came off of minnows we could catch in the minnow net as they swam toward the light haha. Cant seem to get on the big fish consistently but still trying. Check out the down imaging pic. You can see the crappie underneath the baitfish and even one swimming into the ball to feed.

The night bite might just be better now with the full moon up most of the night. It's starting to stay up in the morning now though. Given this mornings bad bite I'd say they are feeding up at night. I chased the green carp a couple nights ago but they didn't bite very good even though the moon was out.....I did manage one pretty good bass though, 21" fish that was fat, prolly a 6LBER.
We used to night fish a lot given it's cooler at night and most of the time less wind and you'd think the fish would be more active but I've caught em at high noon in the heat good too at times so that better night bite don't mean everything.
Nice post. Glad you got into em. The graph reading makes me want to go spiderrigging there at about 8-10 feet deep.

Lights on the water keep the mosquitoe off of us well. Most get caught in the water. Plus off helps. Spider riggin might work trouble is as soon as the lights go out the baitfish scatter and so do the crappie. We just hang 4 jigs over the side. Every once in a while they will hit the still jig but mostly u catch em on the rod you are tossing out about 10 ft and let the jig slowly fall back under the rod tip. 1/32 ounce jig head for a slow fall.
