hi techs extra brackets on back theysaid
I took a look at the Cumberlands online. I would just try it and see. Put plenty of the butt end of the rod through the loop and I don't think it will go anywhere even if it jumps out. I use drift master for spider rigging and just move them to the sides for cranking. I also pull out the back with some DIY tite-lok style holders.
RCC you have my set-up
Greg,
I have the regular Hitechs and have never had a pole jump out of it pulling cranks or longlining rr's out the side, but just in case I do have a rod float on each rod. The only time I have had one try to "jump out" was when a wake boat tried to sink me on greers.
I use titeloks for both....no problems. Occasionally I have had a rod get away but not because of the rod holders
