Wife and I went to Clearlake Saturday afternoon. Fished from 3 pm till dark. Kept 28 fish over 10", 4 fish over 14" s. Finally catching some big ones again. Fish still have some eggs. Same pattern first 7' of water from the bank. Minnows, 5 to 7 ft deep. The hotter the weather, the harder the wind blew, the better the fish bit. Gnats were bad every time the wind died. Bounce, vanilla, thermacell, and biological bug spray. No bites from the bugs. lol. Everyone fishing the banks except us.
