I fished with a neighbor over there and water appeared to be over 10' high. Went to Bream fish but it was tough. He caught a Redear , a Catfish , a couple dink Kentucky Bass and about 3 Bluegill. I caught 3 Redears and a 5 lb Drum. We fished most of the day try'n to locate Bream Beds.
Can't wait to try again when water levels drop and Bream bed back up. My 2 biggest were 14 oz Redears but he said they usually catch some Redear and Bluegill that will be over a pound!
Great day to spend on the water. That sure is a beautiful lake. One island was full of nesting egrets.

Those are some gooduns. I believe you're mistaken on the bird identity. I'm pretty sure they are either albino eagles or stripers.

    probably little blue herons.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.
