Hit the river with Howards Cowards at around 11:00. Caught a few good ones at 10ft in 16-26 fow. Most popular bait was a 1/8oz pink head with a minnow. The bite died at around 2:00, so we loaded up and moved to a private oxbow near the Ar river. We started catching fish immediately. Chris left at 4:00, but I went back for a few more. They really turned on at around 5:00 and a blue/white Midsouth tube tipped with a minnow was killing them. Probably caught over a hundred dinks, but still caught a couple limits of keepers. Biggest was right at 16" and had several 14 inchers. All fish went back except for a few that Chris kept. Man, what a day!!!

Great pics and good fish.
Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Good job taking a newbie and putting them on fish.

"Another day on the water..."
Thanx for the ride CMJ. As always a great time fishing and BS. Good to hear the fish fired up after I left. You must have got the skunk out of the boat. The fillet from the biggest fish will feed the whole family all by itself. Until next time.
