Default Where you fishing this weekend?

Hope it was not Nimrod in your plans. Water up 4' and now they are dumping it out. Not real good conditions most times. Fish too unsettled and scatttered most times. They probably be right in a week or so. Ones I been catching so poor anyway after catching Dardanelle fish since last fall, I have to make myself stay here to fish.

Translation: The post spawn bite is on and limits of big slabs are literally jumping in the boat.

I'm headed to Reelfoot. Haven't looked but I'm sure the water is rising, but it will be clear where I'm fishing. Should be really good this weekend!

Two weeks ago we slaughtered the trout with yellow panther martins. In a few hours me, my dad, and my two sons easily caught upwards of 60 trout.

My son, with all of his years of wisdom, said: "Dad, trout fishing is like cheating. It's too easy."

I'm headed home from a 3 day class in St Charles, MO. Going to hook up my camper and spend this weekend out from Dumas at Morgan Point at the Arkansas River. Doesn't matter if the fish don't bite, just relax with the family and inlaws.

Spent 4 days camping at Greers Ferry, Choctaw. You can have it!!! I hate big clear lakes! I can't catch a cold on 'em! Just don't know how. Or something. Plus, a storm liked to have taken our little popup away!

Going to Nimrod next week, and camp and fish and sit.............IF the parking lot at Sunlight Bay ain't underwater. If it is, might wait another week.......don't know yet.

But I ain't fishing this weekend. You couldn't pay me. Ain't my thing.
