The best thing is long sleeves, gloves and a net head gear. Vanilla works but must keep reapplying from my experince.
I hate them things...ran me and a partbner off the lake at beaverfork one time. never again cause I got me some vneller.
i never had to put it on more than once. turtle said the same thing and that's why he uses absorbine jr. that stuff stinks
