So as far as I know there are White and black crappie but so many variations of the 2 how can they come out of the same water and be so different in color, these 1st 3 are if my son and his friend fishing out on one of my ponds, notice the blue color![ATTACH]125949[/ATTACH

Alot of color is due to water clarity, depth (light penatration) , and season in my opinion. Some of it could be genetics , I have seen photos of gold colored White Crappie.
