Anyone ever fished?
not sure what its called but there is a slough that runs along 440 by clinton airport there is a boat launch over off lindsey rd. I was just wondering if its worth putting a boat in or just take to the river. thanks for any info

I work at the Port of Little Rock and know a little about the area you are talking about. Are you talking about the swampy area where 440, 530, and I 30 intersect? I pass by two times a day at least 6 days a week and have never seen a fish being caught. But, it does get some attention. I don't know if I would eat anything out of it. Fourche creek enters the Arkansas river just above us. You wouldn't beleave the basket balls, wine bottles, styrofoam, syrenges, ETC that the heavy rains will was out of the area. They all pass by us at the port. I would be afraid of finding a body in there too.
