Default Norfork lake late may/early june

Hi guys, kansas guy here. Going to be on norfork memorial wknd thru 3rd of june. Ive never see the lake in my life but i do have experience on beaver, albeit not so much this time of year. My main target will likely be striper and MAYBE walleye/crappie. Anyone have any pointers for that time of year? Ive heard topwater between 10pm-1am but to me thats starting to push it on topwater pending water temps. Im camping bidwell point area and thinking ill target dam to big creek area on the points using live bait (brood minnows) and maybe try the topwater thing one night. Sorry i know striper probably isnt a species of great interest on here im just not sure where to go for good info. Any insight is appreciated for sure. Thanks guys, feel free to pm me if you prefer.

Call Stan Todd or Ken Shirly (877)425-7577. They are the fisheries biologist in that district. Their office is in Mountain Home, AR. They should be able to give you the info that you are looking for.

You will have to go up the lake a little, but you should be real close to some good fishing. Go up the lake and get out of the boat traffic, if that is possible. By Tuesday you should find some fishable water that is not infested with boats. Crank baits would be a good choice by then. Also check the points that have standing timber on them for some vertical fishing. As it is right now, the water is up and in the bushes. If the water is still up, you may be in for a real treat.

Let us know how it goes!

for stripers, if you are new to the lake, you may want to hire a guide. i know a good one. pm me if you want his name. you picked a good area of the lake to fish. i fished that part of the lake for years and know it like the back of my hand.
