Squirrel Dog 100 and I slipped over to Dardanelle today and extracted 36 nice slabs from brushpiles in 10 to 13 FOW. Jigs and jig/minnow combinations are what worked with White/Chart Joker working the best for me. Biggest was a beautiful female Black crappie that weighed 2lb 2oz.
The females were all still full of light colored tight egg sacs. Maybe they will still get to spawn over there. We cleaned them back at Nimrod and the females the guys were cleaning over here were spawned out looking with loose orange eggs.

Took the camera to the fish station but we were to hot and tired to spread 'em out for a pic. We just wanted to get 'em cleaned and rest.
